Listings: jobs, products and properties

How Liyobot detects listings on your site and shows them in chat as searchable cards.

If your website lists things people browse, such as jobs, products or properties, Liyobot can find them automatically and show them in the chat as cards. Visitors can ask for exactly what they want, in their own words, and see matching results instantly.

What’s detected#

Liyobot looks for listings on the website pages it crawls, including:

  • Jobs and vacancies
  • Products
  • Properties for rent or sale
  • Events
  • Classifieds

Each listing captures an image, title, price, location and category where your page provides them.

How detection works#

There’s nothing to switch on. When Liyobot reads a page from your website, it first checks for structured information many websites already include behind the scenes, such as product or job details and social sharing tags. If that isn’t there, AI reads the page to pick out the listing details.

Tip
Make sure the pages where your listings live are included when you crawl your website. Listings can only be found on pages Liyobot has read.

Manage listings settings#

When listings are found, the website’s row in your knowledge base shows a badge like 🏷 24 listings · refreshed hourly. Expand it to see each listing with its image, title, price, location and category, plus these controls:

  • Refresh hourly: on by default. Keeps your listings up to date.
  • Listings path (optional): the part of your site where listings live, for example /jobs.
  • Refresh listings now: check for new or changed listings immediately.

If no listings are found

The panel says “No listings detected yet” and asks where they live. Point Liyobot in the right direction:

  1. Find your listings section

Open your website and note the address of the page that lists your items, for example yoursite.com/properties.

  2. Enter the path

Type just the path part, such as /properties, into the box.

  3. Click Detect

Liyobot looks in that section for listings and adds any it finds.

What visitors see#

Visitors simply ask, for example “2-bedroom rentals in Suva under $1,500”. The bot searches your listings by keyword, location, category and price range, newest first by default, and shows up to 8 matching cards. Each card shows the image, title, price and location, and opens the listing on your website in a new tab.

When there are more matches, a See all N results → link opens a drawer beside the chat. It shows 10 results per page, with quick filter chips so visitors can narrow things down without typing.

Staying current#

Listings refresh every hour, and each listing is re-checked about once a day. Items your website marks as no longer available are removed automatically, including those marked sold, rented, let agreed, under offer, withdrawn, leased, off market, no longer available, filled or closed. Visitors aren’t shown things they can’t have.

Listings use your page allowance
Listing pages count toward your chatbot’s page allowance. If you have many listings, check your plan in Plans and limits.
