Each chatbot in Liyobot runs on one website and has its own settings, knowledge, embed code and results. This page shows how to create one, how its workspace is organised, and how to manage your chatbots from the list.

In the left menu, click Chatbots, then + New chatbot.

Find your way around the chatbot workspace#
When you open a chatbot, the left menu switches to that chatbot’s sections. The breadcrumb at the top reads Chatbots / your chatbot / page. Click ← All chatbots to go back to the list. If you have more than one chatbot, the Switch chatbot dropdown jumps to another one and keeps you on the same page. On a phone, tap the menu icon to open the menu as a drawer.
| Section | Pages | What you do there |
|---|---|---|
| Set up | Basics, Appearance, Pre-chat fields, End of chat | Who the bot is, how it looks and what it asks visitors |
| Train | Knowledge, Forms | What the bot knows and the requests it can take |
| Go live | Your website, Embed code | Where it runs and how to put it on your site |
| Results | Leads, Analytics | Conversations, leads and performance |
Active, Paused and Draft#
Every chatbot shows one of three statuses:
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Active | The widget is answering visitors on your website. |
| Paused | The widget is turned off. The chatbot has a greeting and is ready to switch back on. |
| Draft | The widget is turned off and the chatbot has no greeting yet. |
To pause or resume a chatbot, use the Widget answers visitors toggle in Basics. Turning it off hides the launcher without deleting anything.
Manage your chatbots from the list#
The Chatbots page gives you an overview of every chatbot in your organisation.
Stat cards
- Chatbots: how many you have, and how many are active and paused.
- Chats · 30d and Leads · 30d: activity over the last 30 days, with your conversion rate.
- Needs attention: chatbots that are still drafts or have gone stale.
Search, filter and sort
- Search with Search chatbots or bot ID.
- Filter by All, Active, Paused or Draft.
- Sort by Last active, Most chats, Most leads or Name A–Z.
- Switch between List and Grid views, and show 8, 16 or 24 per page.
Each row shows the chatbot’s name, greeting, status, chats, leads, when it was last active and its Bot ID. Row actions let you open Analytics, Copy embed code or Open the chatbot.
Saving changes and the live preview#
Settings pages such as Basics and Appearance have Save changes and Discard buttons at the top. When you edit something, an Unsaved changes indicator appears, along with a bar at the bottom reminding you that you have unsaved changes. Your edits only take effect for visitors once you save.
On the right, the Live preview shows the widget as visitors will see it and updates instantly as you type. Below it, Last 30 days shows chats, leads and rating, with a link to Open analytics →.
Delete a chatbot#
Click Delete in the chatbot’s header and confirm. This permanently deletes the chatbot and its data, and it can’t be undone. Only people with permission to delete chatbots (Admins) see this option. If you only want to stop it answering for a while, pause it instead.
